Mumbai and the Future
As soon as the siege is over people have already labelled it as one more chapter of tragedy to be forgotten.
As the clouds clear over the Mumbai sky the blame game has already begun
A number of high-level resignations would have never been forth coming had the terror struck say an area of say Matunga or Ghatkopar.
This time it was three in one. The commercial hub, the western high profiles resident areas and the big icons the Taj and Oberoi hotels.
We know that the security measures were highly lacking in security itself and that the supremos of Bombay police hierarchy were busy upgrading their official carriers from ordinary jeeps to limos of repute an added expense to the exchequer.
To be honest the terrorists need not have bothered to do any homework and recces of the Bombay shoreline because no one, who are in control, was minutely interested in believing that Bombay was a real target from sea… in the past the majority of the blasts were instigated by local mafia connected political criminals with able beaurocratic and political cover to camouflage the blame on outsiders. This was in reality after 1993 the first real terror attack on Mumbai obviously from Pakistan who always put a full stop to Indian claims by claiming the proof and thereafter the blind world so scared of Paki tantrums always wanting to turn a blind eye.
However on the other hand go and ask the real players on the streets of midnight Mumbai and one would grasp the true picture of how the so called protectors of the law project themselves.
A police officer of clean repute can not exist in Mumbai on his own even if he graduated in the best of nation protecting environments because of the real audit merchants higher up wanting protection deep down for their desires and politically connected criminal clients.
The best of the police force have already given their lives leaving the reigns in the hands of the most rotten and corrupt police force ever on the face of this earth. The citizens of Mumbai should be worried more about this lot than the ones coming every so often as terrorists from the westerly direction.
Look at the national politicians Advani of BJP saw it within his rights to flag march into Mumbai with 40 elite commandos protecting his miserable skin not even worth insuring for a cent. These Guys have taken it for granted that mother India owes it to them for her proverbial safety…This man and his type are the most dangerous politicians living amongst us flaming community hatred upon the slimiest of chances.
Pakistan need not have bothered to send in these terrorists it would only help the industry run by Advani and company who are our residential war mongering terror producing merchants anyway.
India will never be safe until Advani and co is ruling the roost of hindutva fanning the terror from within.
The new federal security agency has to be free of political infringement. The primary usage of the agency should be to protect the interests of ordinary citizens of India and not the politicians.
Apart from the president and the prime minister there should be no Z cover for any governmental minister or personnel of any rank.
